Thank you for choosing Lane Furniture. You have made an investment in quality, comfort and innovation that will bring years of enjoyment. Please read the terms of the Lane Limited Warranty coverage carefully.

Limitations Applicable to all Warranties
Lane warrants that its products shall be free of defects in material and/or workmanship attributable to manufacture for the period specified below from the date of delivery to the original purchaser. All warranties apply to first quality Lane products purchased from an authorized retailer, are valid only for the original purchaser, and are not transferable. Any modification or alteration of Lane products by the consumer or any other party not specifically authorized by Lane will void this warranty.

All warranties apply only under conditions of normal residential usage in a climate-controlled environment. No warranty applies to (i) floor samples or display models, (ii) goods sold “as is”, “final sale” or with similar designations, (iii) goods used in rental, business, commercial, institutional, in recreational vehicles, or other non-residential uses. Damage that occurs during transportation, delivery or storage before delivery is excluded from this warranty. These damages are not manufacturing defects and should be addressed by your authorized Lane retailer.

UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, LANE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DETERMINE THE APPROPRIATE REMEDY AND WILL EITHER REPAIR OR REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE ITEM OR PARTS. The repair or replacement of an item or part does not extend the duration of the warranty period nor begin a new warranty period. If an item is discontinued, Lane may replace it with a similar item not to exceed the cost of the original item. REFUNDS ARE NOT AVAILABLE. In-home inspection fees, transportation of the product to and from the retail store, and to and from the Lane factory, if required, for repairs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

Improper Care and Use, Accidents, Abuse and Normal Wear & Tear: Proper care and usage are essential to preserving your rights under this warranty. This limited warranty does not cover damage resulting from neglect, abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, accidents or storage; including (but not limited to) burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or pet damage. Any furniture that, in our opinion, has been abused or mistreated will not be covered by this warranty. This limited warranty does not cover fading or stains from spills such as (but not limited to) acids, solvents, dyes, ink, paint or other corrosive chemicals or bodily fluids. We caution consumers against improper cleaning, application of chemical products or protective coatings, and exposure to sunlight, bright lights or extreme heat or cold. Items so exposed are not protected under this warranty. This warranty does not apply if your merchandise is damaged by the use of detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents, or improper or inadequate maintenance.

Variations from Floor Samples or Literature: Because of the craftsmanship involved and the natural materials used in the manufacturing process, minor and normal variations can occur from piece to piece. Therefore, this warranty does not cover such minor differences between floor samples, finish samples, printed or website illustrations and the furniture that is delivered. If any model or sample is shown to the purchaser, such model or sample is used merely to illustrate the general type and quality of goods, and not to represent that goods supplied to the purchaser will necessarily conform in all aspects to the sample or model. Color and finish perception can vary depending on lighting and surrounding colors and therefore is not considered a defect.

ALL EXPRESS AND IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND CONDITIONS OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN TIME TO THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. NO WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WILL APPLY AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THIS LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN THE EVENT THE WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS DO NOT APPLY TO YOU, THEN, WHERE LEGALLY PERMISSIBLE, SUCH WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE WARRANTY PERIOD AND NO WARRANTIES APPLY AFTER THAT PERIOD. FURTHERMORE, NO REPRESENTATIVE OF LANE OR ITS DISTRIBUTORS OR RETAILERS IS AUTHORIZED TO MAKE ANY CHANGES OR MODIFICATIONS TO THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

SOME RETAILERS OFFER EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL FABRIC WARRANTIES, EITHER FROM THE RETAILER OR THROUGH A THIRD PARTY. LANE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE UNDER ANY EXTENDED OR ADDITIONAL WARRANTIES OFFERED BY ANY RETAILER OR THROUGH A THIRD PARTY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL LANE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, SUCH AS LOSS OF USE, INCONVENIENCE, LOSS OR DAMAGE TO PERSONAL PROPERTY, WHETHER INDIRECT OR DIRECT, AND WHETHER ARISING IN CONTRACT OR TORT, EVEN IF IT HAD REASON TO KNOW IN ADVANCE THAT SUCH DAMAGES WERE POSSIBLE. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE FOREGOING LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. IN NO EVENT SHALL LANE’S RESPONSIBILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE PRODUCT OR ITS REPLACEMENT.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state. Except for such other rights, the remedies provided under this warranty state the limit of the responsibilities of Lane. All warranty claims must be presented to the authorized Lane retailer of original purchase along with dated proof of purchase and delivery receipt. If your Lane dealer is no longer in business, please contact Lane Customer Service at 877-251-5010. All correspondence must include a copy of the original sales order/receipt, along with a photograph(s) clearly showing the issue.

*Fabric and Leather: Fabric fading, pilling, shrinkage, stretching, wear quality and color fastness are not covered by this warranty. Warranty coverage for leather does not include natural markings, shrinkage, stretching, or variations in grain or color, which occur naturally and prove the authenticity of the leather. Fabric/ leather damage or failure due to chemical treatments applied by the retailer or consumer, heavy soiling or improper cleaning will void this warranty.

An exact color match to fabric samples or to existing upholstered items cannot be guaranteed. Different dye lots may have variations in shading. To ensure the matching of items to be used as pairs, the items should be ordered at the same time.

Wood Product Warranty
Wood products are no longer being produced or sold by Lane. All Lane wood products purchased prior to October 1, 2014 were covered by a one (1) year warranty, which has now expired.

This warranty does not cover any damage or problems with the fabric where there is evidence of excessive soiling, improper cleaning or chemical treatment with any protective treatment. Use of such treatments will void all warranties from the fabric mill and United Furniture Industries.

Use of such treatments will void all warranties from the fabric mill and United Furniture Industries.
